David Henry Twissell

David passed peacefully in hospital on the 8th August 2021 aged 78 years of Clayton Le Moors.
Devoted partner to Julie Ann Crawshaw, beloved brother to Judith, devoted uncle to Catherine, David and Andrew. David also leaves brother-in-law Charlie and great nieces and nephews Rebecca, Luke, Connor, Louis, Archie and Sophie.
David lived all of his life in Clayton Le Moors , he was a well known character around the area and within the farming community. David will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

I have very fond memories of David and Gramps his dad on Duke Street. I spent many hours on his pig farm when he and my dad we’re tinkering. David had huge amounts of energy and even as a child I appreciated how hard he worked on the farm and cleaning windows. In short was a lovely man, my dad’s great friend and he will be sorely missed.
