David Goldsworthy

Peacefully at his home on 26th January 2024, David aged 84 years of Rishton. The devoted husband of the late Betty, father of Barry and John and step-father of Barbara and a dear grandad and great-grandad. David was also a respected relative and friend.

David loved wagons and coaches and over the years he as created the most amazing model collection, he was lucky enough to find work following his passion and spent many years as a lorry and coach driver. He was the most able mechanic and always kept his motors in tip top condition. Together with his adored wife Betty, David enjoyed touring the UK in their beloved touring caravan enjoying some well earned rest and relaxation. David was a man of few words who enjoyed a simple life.
