David Dalton

Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on 3rd October 2022. David aged 81 years of Rishton. The devoted husband of the late Judith, loved brother of Peter and his wife Marjorie, dear step-dad to Vicki, loved grandad of Leah, cherished uncle of Angela, Pamela, Nicola and Michala, David was also great uncle, great-great uncle and a relative and friend to many.

David was born in Brighouse, Yorkshire and made the move to Lancashire as young boy with his family. Following his school years, David began his working life in the Pits in Burnley before working for Bailey’s Farm on the milk round. He later went on to work for Thwaites Brewery. He also worked as a grave digger and HGV driver. David loved animals and throughout his life always had a companion dog. He loved the outdoors and could often be seen out and about with his four legged friend, chatting away to his many friends.
