Christopher Lee Taylor (Chris)

On 10th December 2020 at his home in Darwen Chris aged 28 years.

Loving son to Maureen and the late Andrew, cherished brother of Martin, Sarah, Michael and Zach, beloved uncle of Maria, Lily and Willow-Mae, much loved grandson of Dorothy, Harry and Joan, a dear nephew of Donna, Nicky and Michael. Also a much loved cousin and loyal friend to many.

Chris spent his working life caring for other people. This is something he was very passionate about and found it most rewarding, especially in his current role as a carer at Feng Shui House. He worked for numerous care companies and made many friends along the way.

Chris always said that as long as he could make one person smile each day, he was happy. He was a fun loving, bubbly guy who also had a mischievous streak and he loved to make people laugh. Music was another love in Chris’s life –  from Dolly Parton to Guns and Roses and he could be often heard singing along. Chris’s mum was the light of his life and he always made sure he visited her, always looking forward to her home cooking and making sure that she was well taken care. He was a devoted son. Chris was thoroughly enjoyed the company of his nieces. He would say –  brew in one hand, biscuit in the other and his night was golden. Chris enjoyed to socialise and also loved his holidays to Turkey, Benidorm and Gran Canari,a where he would relax in the sunshine.

Chris will be remembered for lighting up every room that he walked into.

Family flowers only please, donations are being gratefully received in memory of Chris on behalf of Diabetes UK
