Catherine Anne Lawton – Cath

On 23rd June 2022, Cath lost her battle with cancer and passed away with peace, surrounded by her loving family. The devoted and much loved wife of Chris, cherished mum of Shauna, Samuel and Mathew, devoted nana of Caleb, Frankie, Caleb, Callie-Alice, Archie and Lola-Rae, much loved sister of Terry, Robert and Caroline. Also a much loved daughter in law, sister in law, auntie and much loved daughter of the late Cathie and Bob.

Cath spent her working life as a care assistant and spent 15 years at Calderstones before working in the community. She was loving and kind and nothing was too much trouble, those she worked with and cared for often became friends. First and foremost Cath was a devoted family lady and was at her happiest looking after Chris and their lovely family. She was a great homemaker and liked things done her way. Cath enjoyed reading a good romance novel and also enjoyed making things out of resin and made many key rings, pens and decorative initials which she gifted to her family and friends. Cath will be remembered for her loveliness, kindness and caring nature.
