Carole Irene Ellis

Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family 5th August 2022, Carole aged 77 years. The devoted and much loved wife of Michael, Carole was also an adored and cherished mum, grandma and great-grandma.

Carole was the most amazing family lady who devoted her time to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved nothing more than gathering the family for a celebration making many wonderful memories and enjoying a glass of her favourite red wine and treating the family to her delicious home cooking. In her younger years, Carole was a successful and highly competitive swimmer. She loved all sports especially football and loved to keep up to date with her beloved Blackburn Rovers and over the last few seasons has enjoyed attending matches as a season ticket holder. Carole loved to travel and for the last 30 years she has enjoyed spending several weeks during the winter months enjoying the warm climate of Australia, sharing time with special friends and relatives.

Carole will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
