Carol's funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium chapel followed by interment at Dill Hall Cemetery, Dill Hall Lane Church, Accrington BB5 4DL
Carol Cherry
On Friday 6th September 2024 peacefully in hospital Carol aged 63 years of Clayton le Moors. Beloved sister of Chris, Joan and Stephen, dear sister in law of Val, a loving Auntie and much loved great aunt of Leanne.
Born in Carlisle, Carol moved to Oswaldtwistle at the age of five attending Mount Pleasant primary school and then St Christophers secondary school.
Carol first worked at Rist Wires in Accrington and then The Steak Canadian company in Oswaldtwistle. Leading up to her early retirement Carol worked as a carer at Stonehaven care home in Clayton Le Moors.
Carol loved to cook and bake, and liked sewing and craftwork, in particular making jewellery.
Carol enjoyed many memorable holidays in Spain and visited Turkey and Bulgaria with sister in law Val. Carol also liked to visit stately homes and other royal places of interest.
