Carlton Wood

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 23rd September 2018, Carlton aged 67 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved partner of Christine, loving dad of Lisa, Carlton and the late Kirk, cherished grandad of Cody-Marie and dear brother of the late Clive.

A well known local character ‘Woody’ who was known for his warm and caring personality. Carlton was a hard working man who spent his life working as a self-employed plasterer and builder. When not working Carlton could often be found at the Lamb Inn with his friends enjoying a drink, he loved to sing and would entertain everyone with his fantastic singing voice. A true family man who was at his happiest when all of his family were gathered together.
