On 23rd December 2020 peacefully at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Brian aged 79 years.

Devoted husband to the late Clara, dearly loved dad of Marie and Alicia, cherished grandad and great grandad also a dear uncle to Keith and Ann-Marie.

Brian was born and bred in Church he left school at the age of 14 and started work for the Waterboard before moving onto work for Stantons Pop in Oswaldtwistle. Brian was eager to pass his HGV driving licence and as soon as he did he was off trucking. Special memories were made on these trips as Brian would often take his grandchildren and nephews along with him.

Brian met his late wife Clara at The Union Pub on Hyndburn Road they was devoted to each other from the day they met, Fleetwood at the weekends were often looked forward to sitting on the same bench and having the same chippy before they returned home.

Brian loved his holidays caravanning in Devon, St Ives and Scotland with his family. Brian was at his happiest when surrounded by the love of his family, he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
