Brenda Pilling

On Tuesday 2nd April 2019 peacefully in the hospice, Brenda of Clitheroe.  Wife of the late Roy and loving partner of Brian, devoted and loving mum of Lindsay and the late Stephen, dear mother-in-law of Richard and cherished nan of Daniel, Zoe and Nathan.

Brenda worked at Calderstones hospital for over 25 years as events co-ordinator, arranging holidays and trips.  Even better for Brenda was that she was sometimes allowed to go on the trips.

Brenda could be described as a professional shopper as she loved buying her clothes and costume jewellery.   A beautiful lady inside and out, she loved her bright colours and anything that sparkled.

Holidays in the sunshine were special to Brenda and she loved to travel to various destinations.  Always active, she was a member of Ribblesdale Wanderers Bowling Club for several years.  She enjoyed romantic novels and spent many happy hours meeting her friends for lunch or catching up over coffee.

First and foremost, she was a devoted, loving and inspirational lady who always believed the best in others.  She will be remembered for her beauty and her smile, both of which shone from within.
