Brenda Christine Dickinson
On 18th December 2022 peacefully in a private care home, Brenda, aged 75 years of Rishton. The dearly loved and loving wife of Richard, much loved mum of Mandy, Mark, Tracy and Neil, doting granny and GG to all her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren, loved sister of Joe and sister in law of Glenys and also a loving auntie.
Brenda always had an excellent work ethos and worked various jobs – Wrist Wires, cafes and also as a Silver Service Waitress whilst serving with the WRENs. Brenda loved knitting and was also a great cook – her meat and potato pie was legendary. She loved music, particularly Elvis and David Alexander, whom she had seen in concert a couple of times. In her later years, Brenda discovered a passion for Social Media and online gaming and her iPad became her treasured possession and a window to the world. She was a whizz at Sudoku which kept her as sharp as a tack and Brenda absolutely doted on her dogs. Taken into the care of Henley House in Accrington, Brenda was looked after beautifully by the wonderful staff there. A devoted and loving family lady, Brenda will be sadly missed by all her loving family.
