Betty Merle Davies

On 14th November 2019 peacefully in Burnley General Hospital, Betty Aged 89 years. Loving mum to Arnot and mother in law to Angela, devoted grandma to Tim and his partner Nicki, Step mum to Michael and his wife Brenda, step grandma to Mikaela and Francis and a loyal friend to many.

Betty spent most of her life living in South Wales until 8 years ago when she came to Lancashire to live with her Son and his Family. Betty was a devoted family lady who throughly loved being part of the Operatic Dramatics where she played parts in big shows such as Oklahoma and the King & I. Dancing especially ballroom was something she loved.

Betty lead a very active life, she loved to cook and read. Being part of the Church was a huge part of her life which followed on through her family.

Betty will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
