Popular and lovely lady

On 30th May 2018 in hospital, Betty aged 67 years of Rishton. The dearly loved wife of Neil, much loved mum of Steven and Peter, loving grandma of Elizabeth and Luke, dear sister of David and Andy , also a loved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and auntie.

Betty worked at Lancashire Football Association as an administrator and after her retirement she worked part-time in Hopkins bakery. Betty loved crafts and was a beautiful calligrapher. She also enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables with Neil on the allotment. She enjoyed reading and loved all genres of music but the 60’s was a particular favourite. Betty was a popular and lovely lady who always had a smile on her face.
