Bernard Ainsley Martin

Peacefully on 7th December 2020 at Burnley General Hospital Bernard aged 88 years.

Loving husband of Margaret, devoted dad of Linda, Lorraine, Peter and Brian, cherished grandad, great grandad and loyal friend to many.

Bernard was a hardworking man who held various positions with different companies, he worked very hard to provide for his family to give them the best life that he could. Bernard was an avid Accrington Stanley supporter  and he enjoyed attending the matches, Bernard was also a big music fan from county to pop and his laughter could often be heard when he was watching his comedy programs.

Bernard loved his cruises with his favourite place being Malta he embraced life and its surroundings being thankful for all it had to offer. Bernard was a devoted husband, dad and grandad he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Bernards family would like to thank all the staff on Ward 15 at Burnley General Hospital for all the care and comfort they gave to Bernard in the final weeks of his life.
