Barry passed away at his home on 15th January 2026, aged 75 years.
He was the loving son of the late Florence and John, a much-loved brother to Stewart, Dave, Christine, Larraine and Paul, and a devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Barry worked at Accrington Nori in the brickyard before later moving on to work for the council as a grass cutter. He enjoyed a quiet life and generally kept himself to himself, but he also liked the odd pint or two of his favourite beer, a bitter, and could often be found visiting local pubs to socialise with friends. He enjoyed nights out at Elite playing snooker and was a big fan of wrestling. Barry even wrestled himself until a broken arm sadly brought that chapter to an end. He was also a keen collector of DVDs.
Barry will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

I’m not gonna say passed tense because you were and always will be remembered for being so kind and generous in all you did and my Dominic and Natalie thought the world of you,.and you will be deeply missed.
