Barbara Worthington

On the 11th March 2022, Barbara passed peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital, with her devoted husband Peter and two sons, Stuart and Paul along with her daughter-in-law Sarah.
Barbara was the most thoughtful lady you could ever wish to meet and touched everyone she met.
She loved flower arranging, having done Paul and Sarah’s wedding flowers, especially for friends and relatives.
Also amongst her hobbies were Crown Green Bowling, Gardening, completing JigSaw Puzzles and listening too and attending classical music concerts.
She was the best wife and mother anyone could wish to have and she has left a great big hole in everyone’s lives who knew and loved her.
She will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Barbara’s twinkly eyes radiated love and affection. Her gentle poise belied a steadfast inner strength that both upheld and was the bedrock of her family. Ever humble, Barbara possessed a quiet warmth and intelligence that touched many through ceaseless thoughtful gestures. Her love of flowers embodied the sylvan beauty, purity, sincerity and simplicity that she herself was. —With heartfelt prayers for Peter, Stuart, Paul and Sarah in remembrance of our beloved Barbara.
