Barbara Masterman

On 9th  December 2016 peacefully in hospital, Barbara aged 86 years of Rishton.  The dearly loved wife of the late Donald and loving and much loved mum of Frank and the late Nicholas.

Barbara spent several years of her working life as a carer at the Acorn Lodge in Accrington and later worked at Express Gifts until her retirement. She enjoyed afternoons spent at the Rishton Centre chatting away over a cup of tea.  Barbara enjoyed watching all the soaps on TV, never missing an epsiode of her favourite Corronation Street.  She enjoyed reading her magazines and watching a good detective drama on TV .  Barbara was always smiling and was warm and sunny natured. She will be remembered for being gentle and nice.
