Arthur John Webber (Mick)

On 30th August 2019 suddenly but peacefully in hospital, Mick aged 78 years of Clayton-le-Moors. the dearly loved husband of Marion, loving Dad of Suzanne and Claire, dear father in law of David and much loved grandad of Chloe, Alex, Adam and Ryan.

Mick spent his working life at Pilkingtons Glass where he excelled in the development laboratory. He travelled the world as a Project Manager with Pilkingtons and was known for his meticulous attention to detail, patience and scientific creativity.  He had a wonderful family life and many happy holidays were had at their caravan in North Wales when Mick wasn’t working. He loved to listen to classical music when he was in the car and was a familiar sight around the house with his mini radio and earplugs.

He will be remembered for his calming strength and compassion for his family.
