Ann Haworth

At her home surrounded by her loving family on 15th May 2022, Ann aged 72 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and loved wife of Martin, adored and loving mum of Donna, Philip, Rebecca, Nadine and Aaron, cherished grandma of Jonathan, Lewis, Beth, Mia, Hope, George and Rhys, great-grandma of Lucas, Jacob and Oliver and sister of Susan.

With her naturally caring and giving personality, Ann was the most dedicated nurse, a career that span the whole of her working life from 1965. She worked for over thirty years at Calderstones Hospital where she was a well respected member of staff, making many good and loyal friends, she later worked at Woodlands, Clayton-le-Moors from where she retired. Ann loved to shop and wherever she went she would always return with a new item of clothing to add to her ever growing wardrobe. Holidays for Ann were always looked forward to and over the years she has travelled to many countries around the world enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation. She was an avid Blackburn Rovers supporter and season ticket holder and she loved nothing more than going cheering her team along. At home, Ann loved to settle to watch her TV soaps whilst enjoying her favourite drink, a cup of tea.
