Dearly loved sister and aunt

Peacefully in hospital on Saturday 13th October 2018, Angela aged 68 years of Accrington.  The dear sister of Pamela, cherished auntie of Lois and Antony, Chris and Lynsey, and a dear great auntie of Daniel, Zoe, Molly and Jack.

Angela started her working life in a betting office but it wasn’t long before she progressed into working in accounting. She became a qualified accountant and spent the rest of her career at Remploy and various other local companies.  She loved working with figures and was extremely proud of her achievements. Angela retired in her mid-50’s due to ill-health but she nevertheless kept herself up-to-date with all things financial.

In her spare time, Angela loved to travel.  She travelled to Australia and also on a couple of occasions to Italy with her mum Mollie.  Her favourite destination was China, which she visited twice.  Once there she would enjoy the sightseeing and she was particularly enthused by the vibrance and culture to be found.

She had a passion for growing plants and she was particularly successful at growing her favourite, orchids.
