Andrew David Neville
Andrew passed away peacefully on 8th September, 2023 in The East Lancashire Hospice, and of Clayton-le-Moors. The dearly beloved and devoted husband of Ann, much loved dad of Simon, Steven, Gregg, Gareth, Mark and Corrina, loving stepdad of Louise and James, also a dear father in law and loving grandad.
Andrew had a great head for figures and had spent the majority of his working life in finance and debt collection. With a natural flair for business, he also owned several other businesses, including Centre Travel where he was able to indulge his own love of travel. He loved experiences rather than things – with the exception of his luxury cars, which were his pride and joy. Together, Andrew and Ann travelled the world creating the most memorable and magical experiences. Andrew was dynamic, energetic and charismatic and lived each day to the full. Anything that caught his interest received his one hundred percent attention. From renovating their houses to theatre trips, holidays, his family. Passionate about politics, Andrew had worked for the Standards Committee in Rossendale and he was unsurpassed in debate – Andrew wasn’t wrong, even when he was ???? and he did like to have an opinion. He also had a wonderful sense of humour and was great company to be in. With a strong sense of fairness, Andrew always supported the underdog. He will be remembered for his his amazing capacity for love, life and kindness to others.
