Andrea Louise Greenhalgh
On 15th January, 2023 peacefully at her home, Andrea, aged 55 years of Rishton. The much loved and loving wife of Andy, beloved daughter of Norma and the late Bill, devoted mum of Matthew and Katie, dear mother in law of Alana and Andy, dear stepmum of Lewis, loving grandma of Chloe, Ciaran, Frazier and Spencer, much loved friend of Carol, also a loved and dear friend to many and adoring Dog Mum’ to Alfie, Hugo and Fudgie.
Andrea was MD in the family business, UK Loft Boarding Ltd. working alongside her husband Andy. She was dynamic, energetic and efficient and the staff all loved her. She brought laughter wherever she went and was caring and compassionate with a generous heart. Andrea had time for everyone and was a natural shoulder for others to lean on. Her gentle wisdom never failed to ease your problems. Out of work, she was an avid reader of a good crime or murder mystery. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching TV. Day trips to Lytham in their camper van were always much enjoyed and Andrea loved the sea air and a walk when she was able. Malta was their favourite holiday destination and Andrea would happily sit in the shade, just happy to be outdoors. Andrea was a true family lady and the best grandma. Her beloved dogs brought Andrea so much joy. Always rescue dogs bringing so much pleasure and unconditional love. She loved them all so much and Andrea truly lived a life based on the truth that, with love we have everything. Andrea leaves the most perfect legacy of love, laughter and goodness in the heart of her family, her colleagues and her friends. She will be remembered today and always.
