Andrea Carol Korkut

On 2nd November 2020, suddenly in hospital, Andrea, aged 50 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The dearly loved mum of Lewis, Corey, Keaton and Helin, much loved daughter of June and Donald, loving sister of Susan and Martin, also a dear sister in law and auntie.

Andrea was first and foremost a family lady devoted her children. She loved her holidays and many happy memories were made at Pontins in Southport when the children were growing up. Andrea also loved Turkey and enjoyed holidays there with her friend. Following a holiday romance with Zayni, they married and had their daughter Helin. Andrea had inherited her love of horses from her grandfather and this passed down to Helin. Andrea adored Appleby fair and is was a happy day when Helin’s horse joined the family – Misty Mae. Andrea and all the children helped with Misty Mae. Andrea always played music in the car and loved Take That, Coldplay and Prince. She also loved watching reality programs on TV from Love Island to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In her working life she had been a carer and canteen cook. Andrea will be remembered for being a loving family lady who loved her home.
