Memorial Book

Suddenly, at his home on 23rd July 2025, Alan, aged 39 years, of Blackburn, passed away far too soon.

Devoted and cherished son of the late Dawn, son of Gordon, Much-loved stepson of Mark, treasured brother to Steven, Sam, Tracey, and Elle, and a proud father figure to Luke. He was also a dear brother in law to Chris, Taylor, Pete, and the late Stacy,  uncle, relative, and friend to many.

Known to the wider world as ‘Minion on a Mission,’ Al was a TikTok sensation whose humour, heart, and no filter approach to life earned him thousands of followers and probably a few raised eyebrows too. But behind the viral videos was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first, especially his nieces and nephews. Being an uncle wasn’t just a role for Al, it was his pride and joy.

Al was the definition of a social butterfly. If you didn’t see him first, you certainly heard him. Loud, proud, and unapologetically himself, he lit up every room he walked into. He had a unique ability to connect with people and make them feel seen and also heard.

A lifelong animal lover, Alan adored his two Staffordshire bull terriers, Bullseye and Maxi, who were as much a part of the family as anyone else. His love for animals and his big hearted nature were just two more reasons he was so deeply loved.

Al will be remembered not just for his larger than life personality, but for his loyalty, kindness, and the joy he brought to everyone lucky enough to know him. He leaves behind a lifetime of unforgettable memories and stories that will be told for years to come.

Donations in Al’s memory can be made to Only Foals and Horses, a cause close to his heart. A donation box will also be available at the funeral for those wishing to contribute in person.

    Hello Alan,
Just wanted to say what an amazing person you were. We had some laughs on the phone which I will never forget. I miss seeing you out and about everywhere. Every time I went to Asda you’d be scooting down the aisles or going through town. You protected me on quite a few occasions and I will forever be grateful for that. Your heart was filled with kindness and love for anyone you knew. We will look after your sister and my brother for you. Harley will never forget his uncle Al you meant the world to him!
