Proud mother and grandmother

After a short illness, Agnes is now resting at peace with her beloved husband Stephen and her treasured son Craig. Agnes leaves her dear sons Paul and Raymond and their families.

Agnes worked as a nurse at Burnley General Hospital until 1980 and later managed a sheltered accommodation for the elderly with her husband Stephen before retiring due to ill health. Agnes loved bingo and Las Vegas and enjoyed travelling with Stephen and in recent years went back to Las Vegas with her best friend Margrett. In the early years, although money was tight, Agnes always made sure that her boys were kept fed and smart and always had a family holiday. Agnes loved her boys and her grandchildren. She was incredibly proud of them all and spoiled them rotten.

No flowers by family request. Donations may be made in memory of Agnes to East Lancashire Hospice.
