Sharron Brooks

Suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on 11th February 2024, Sharron aged 55 years of Accrington. The loving and much adored mum and best friend of Adam and his partner Lyndsay, grandma ‘chocolate bag’ of Ava, Emily and Faye, dearly loved sister of Russell and his partner Val, loved auntie of Rick and Kristiana and also a dear relative and friend to all who knew her.

Sharron was the most loving loyal and selfless person, she gave the gifts of her self to all those that she came in to contact with and she had a twinkle in her eye and smile that lit up the room when she entered. First and foremost Sharron was the most doting mum and best friend to her son Adam who she loved to spoil with love and kindness and together they were like two peas in a pod and truly inseparable, Sharron would have walked across hot coals for him. She worked for over 25 years at The Woodlands Care home where she was truly devoted to those lucky enough to be in her care and Sharron was loved and respected in return from the residents and her colleagues. She was a compulsive shopper and she loved nothing more than filling her home with new candles and lamps which she could never have enough of, and when at home Sharron loved to settle to read her latest fantasy novel, watch one of her favourite low budget movies or sing away to her favourite hits by Shania Twain and Faith Hill. With her crazy, outgoing and bubbly personality Sharron was always surrounded by many friends and loved nothing more than time with her besties the two Allison’s and Carol and together they became known as ‘The Four Musketeers’. She shared a special bond with her brother Russell and his partner Val and often met up for a catchup and a spot of lunch and Sharron loved her food, but just one glass of wine and she would be away with the fairies. She was the most loving grandma earning herself the title ‘Grandma Chocolate Bag’ as she loved to feed the three girls with chocolate treats.

Sharron will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her but the wonderful legacy and love she shared will be forever remebered.

Sharron loved bright and cheerful colours, to reflect this please wear an item of bright clothing at her funeral.

Flowers are requested to reflect her love of flowers, please send to the Chapel of Rest.

I’m in utter shock, who on earth am I going to laugh at for being as blind as me? Or compliment your weekly D.I.Y hair cuts? Because for a woman with poor eye sight your hair always looked good! It would be 7.45am and you’d be asking what eyebrow products worked best. You honestly had the heart of gold, so innocent but so comical. My love and strength to all who knew you but especially Adam and your beautiful grand daughters. Sweet dreams “sweetie” xxxx
