Elizabeth Bolton ‘Liz’

Peacefully in hospital on 28th January 2022, Liz aged 71 years of Rishton. The devoted and loved wife of John, much loved mum of Sarah, Neil, Owen and the late Michael, dear mother-in-law of Duane, Denise and Alex, a cherished grandma and great-grandma and also a dear relative and friend to many.

Liz worked for many years at Rist Wires on the assembly line, she was a well respected member of the working team and made many good friends over the years. Liz loved to travel and loved nothing more than jetting off to enjoy some warm sunshine, over the years she has travelled across the world visiting America, Bhali, Singapore and most of Europe, Italy was a firm favourite and a place that Liz loved to re visit. At home Liz loved to cook and her sweet treats and bakes where truly amazing and the whole family always looked forward to tasting them, Liz was generous to a fault and would cook for everyone she knew, she would even take a tin of her bakes to the doctors surgery for all the staff to enjoy. Liz adored her family and always looked forward to spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She adored dogs especially her beloved Maisie the Maltese who was one very spoilt pooch.
