Olive's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnely Road, Accrington BB5 6HA
Olive Hill
Olive Hill, aged 95 years of Dill Hall Lane, Church passed on peacefully at Hope House on 21st December 2021. The devoted wife of the late Rowland, much loved mum of Christopher and Andrew, dear mother-in-law of Ilona and a cherished grandma and great-grandma.
Olive was the former post mistress at Dill Hall Lane Post office, where she became well known in the local community. A keen walker, Olive loved to get out each day for a breath of fresh air with her beloved companion dogs. At home Olive loved to cook and her baked treats were always enjoyed by all of her family and she was the most doting mum and proud grandma. A keen knitter and avid reader, Olive loved to settle in her favourite spot to create her latest knitwear and finish off her favourite book.
