Joseph Alan Clutton

On 1st December 2018 peacefully at his home, Alan aged 76 years of Simonstone.  The very precious cherished husband of Carol, very loving dad of Melanie and Mandy, dear father-in-law of Paul and Eli, very devoted Diddy to Holly and Tobias and Popsy to Madison and Benjamin and fab daddy to Jac.

36 years ago, Alan moved to Simonstone with his work as an Area Manager for Coral Racing.  10 years later, he began working in financial services and then became a self-employed financial advisor.  Just before and following his retirement, Alan became a delivery driver for Clitheroe Health Centre.  He loved to chat to people.  Alan was eloquent, warm and outgoing and could connect easily with people.

Alan enjoyed playing darts, crown green bowling and golf as well as watching the horse racing and football.  He enjoyed reading his Daily Mirror and Mail on Sunday and completing the crossword.

Above all, Alan was a family man who worshipped Carol, their daughters and grandchildren, not forgetting his beloved dog Jac.
