Jack Demaine

Suddenly at his home on 9th September 2019, Jack aged 83 years of Great Harwood and formerly of Clayton-le-Moors. The much loved dad of Antony, Gill and the late John, cherished grandad of Alecia, Ryan and Janine, a dear great-grandad and also a dear  relative and friend.

Jack loved the outdoors he was at his happiest when out in the countryside rabbiting, he was passionate about his dogs and was a former breeder of greyhounds, whippets and lurchers. A life long avid Burnley FC supporter Jack loved to keep up to date with his beloved team and in his younger years loved to attend the matches. A keen cyclist Jack loved getting out in the open air on his bicycle and each year he loved to watch the annual Tour-de-France. Jack was a simple man who loved the simple things in life and was happy in his own company.
