Unexpectedly on Saturday 29th November 2025,  Gill, aged 59, of Great Harwood drifted off to sleep, A devoted fiancée to Wayne, cherished mum to Kirsty, Stacey, Laura, and Becky, and a dearly adored Nana to Joshua, James, Louis, Kobi-Lee, Gracie-Mai, Jaxon, and the late Lucas. Gill was also a treasured friend to many whose lives she brightened.

Gill became a young mum and raised her daughters in her own proud and loving way. They were her world, her strength, and her joy. Family meant everything to her, and along life’s journey her warm heart welcomed many friends who soon became like family too.

Caring by nature, Gill discovered her true passion working as a care assistant in her local community, creating special bonds with the residents she supported. She also absolutely shone in pub life Gill was in her element behind the bar, on the bar, and occasionally under it! She brought laughter, warmth, and her unforgettable sparkle wherever she went. She truly was the life and soul of every party.

When Gill met the love of her life, Wayne, she found a partner in adventure, love, and endless fun. Together they enjoyed a wonderfully spirited rollercoaster of life, including their very first holiday abroad and many sunshine filled trips all over Europe memories they cherished deeply.

Becoming a Nana was one of Gill’s greatest joys. Young at heart and full of fun, she formed close, loving bonds with her grandchildren, everyone adored her straight talking honesty and heart of gold.

Gill leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Her vibrant spirit will forever brighten the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Family Flowers only please, Donations are being greatly received on behalf of NICU a donation box will also be on the funeral.
