Ray what a character
One to take a stand
With a huge personality
And big sausage hands
You and my dad
Would go off to the pub
Then fights with those sticky bobs
Down at the stubs
Morning has broken
Was your song of choice
To wake us from slumber
What a wonderful voice!
We’d chill in the sauna
That bargain you bought
We were relaxed and safe
Or so we thought
Oh no Ray is stumbling
Cold water in hand
On our baking hot bodies
He made that ice land
You’ve made our lives better
By just being there
Thanks for the laughs
And the love you have shared
The hole you have left
Will not disappear
But we’ll see you again
That much is clear
A big Bacardi cheers
With much much love Sheila and Jody xx
