Dawn Williams

On 1st August 2025, peacefully in hospital, Dawn, aged 54 years of Darwen. Much loved by all her family and friends, best friend Gillian and carer Julie.

Dawn was a warm and lovely character, always smiling, though she could be stubborn if she didn’t want to do something. She loved dancing, theatre, singing, and music, especially Abba and her favourite Robbie Williams. Dawn would watch Mama Mia on repeat and sing along. She had a gift for tapestry and liked to be creative. She loved people and being in company and cherished her times at the Girl Guides and Peter Pan Club. Clothes shopping was a favourite pastime and Dawn always took pride in looking her best. She adored her little Westie Kim, her precious pooch and she loved a bottle of Blue WKD. Dawn will be missed for her warm character and loving ways. She will be remembered for her sunshine personality, her loving ways, and the joy she brought to those lucky enough to know her. Dawn leaves a legacy of laughter, friendship, and warmth that will be treasured forever. Reunited with her loving parents. May they rest in peace, perfect peace.
