Loving and much loved family lady
Peacefully in the loving care of Henley House on 29th June 2016, Violet aged 93 years formerly of Rishton, devoted mum of the late June and the late Terry, loving mother-in-law of Michael and Lynne, cherished grandma of Les, Shaun, Michael, Joanne, Rebecca and Gemma, and a much loved great-grandma.
Violet will be missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service to celebrate Gillian's life will take place at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington, BB5 6HA
Former primary school teacher
Gillian, aged 63 years, of St. Annes and formerly of Accrington peacefully passed away at her home on 27 June 2016 surrounded by her loving family. The devoted wife of Peter, much loved mum of Chris and Simon, cherished grandma of Elke, and dear sister of Chris.
Gillian was a loving family lady and a very proud grandma. Gillian worked as primary school teacher at Green Howarth Primary for over 20 years until her retirement 3 years ago. She was passionate about teaching, she taught music, conducted the school choir and organised the Christmas productions. Gillian loved to go on holidays with Peter and they cruised on the Norwegian and Baltic cruise lines. She was a keen piano player, gardener and she also enjoyed knitting and embroidery.

A funeral service to celebrate Ann's life will be held in St. Johns Baxenden Church followed by a committal at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington.
Lived life to the full and enjoyed every moment
Peacefully in hospital on 27th June 2016, Ann aged 74 years of Baxenden formerly of Blackburn. The devoted wife of the late Jack, much loved mum of Chris, Andie, Duncan and Trevor. Dear mother-in-law of Bernie, Jane, Michele and Barbara, cherished grandma of Caitlan, Hayley, Olivia, Laura, Becky, Miriam and Victoria, and great-grandma of Jack, Maisie and Daisy, dear sister of Susan and sister-in-law of Alan, and a much loved relative and also good friend to Tricia & Mike, Anne & Harold, Maureen & Geoff, Jim & Sandra and Barbara.
Ann loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. She lived life to the full and enjoyed every moment. Ann worked at Marks and Spencer Accrington until her retirement, she loved her work and made many good friends. She was a long time member of St. Johns Baxenden Church, PCC Member, Choir Member and Prayer Co-ordinator, and also a member of Hyndburn Singers. Ann enjoyed regular trips to Franco's in Oswaldtwistle with friends, and her lunches with the Golden Girls. She loved holidays abroad with her friends to Lanzarote and Portugal.

Former member of Clitheroe operatic Society
On 10th May 2016 with Terry at her side following a long illness, Margaret aged 76 years of Church, Accrington. The devoted and much loved best friend and wife of Terry.
Former Civil Servant for the Inland Revenue who loved her work and everything it entailed. Margaret met and married Terry thirty years ago they had a wonderful happy marriage together. They were both members of the Clitheroe operatic society and loved nothing more than to perform together in one of the many musicals. Later they ran Church Street chippy, Church together and became known locally as 'Terry & Margaret Chip's'. She loved her holidays touring around the UK especially to North Wales and Norfolk.

Raymond Threlfall 'Speedy'
Retired scrap metal merchant
Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on 22nd April 2016. Raymond aged 74 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted husband of the late Mildred, much loved dad, step-dad, father-in-law, cherished grandad and great-grandad, a dear brother, brother-in-law and good friend to many.
Ray worked as a scrap metal merchant in the family scrap metal business until he took early retirement due to ill health. He had a static caravan in Morecambe for many years and loved to get away to escape and enjoy the peace and quiet. Ray was a well known local face and became known locally as 'Speedy' due to his motorbility scooter as he could often be seen whizzing around Clayton. He was also a keen photographer. Ray was always doing kind deeds for others and was a very kind gentleman.
