Nick started his journey in the funeral profession in May 1981 when he joined local funeral directors, Kirby & Hughes of Blackburn Rd Accrington. Following the sale of the business some years later Nick became part of a large company of funeral directors and was responsible for the running of 26 funeral homes in the Wigan and Greater Manchester areas. Throughout his 42 year career Nick had always hoped to be part of a privately owned independent funeral directors again, and in May 2024 he happily joined L. Champ Funeral Services. Nick is a certified funeral director and certified embalmer.
