The funeral service to celebrate Donald's life will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA led by Civil Celebrant, Bernadette Nuttall
Lifelong member and former captain of Accrington Golf Club.
In hospital on 8th August 2017, Donald aged 84 years of Great Harwood. The devoted and much loved husband of Irene, loving dad of Simon and Gillian, dear father-in-law of Richard, cherished grandad of Cheryl and her husband Adam, and great grandad of Macey and Millie.
Prior to his retirement, Donald worked as a Computer Analyst at Mullards in Simonstone. He was a lifelong member of Accrington Golf Club and was Captain of the Golf Club in 1984. Donald liked to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine or whiskey and watch his television programmes, especially documentaries, and Midsummer Murders was one of his favourite TV programmes. In his spare time he also enjoyed growing vegetables and pottering in the garden. Donald always enjoyed getting away for a few days on holiday where he could relax and enjoy time with Irene. He also loved his family visits and was a proud grandad and great grandad.

Ellen's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA led by Civil Celebrant, Lianna Champ
On 4th August 2017, peacefully in hospital after a long illness, Ellen of Blackburn, much loved wife of Roy, loving mum of Nicola, Alison, Peter, Roy and the late Heather, much loved nan and great-nan and a good friend of many.
Ellen worked in the mills as a weaver most of her working life and also spent some time working as a domestic cleaner and dinner lady. She enjoyed playing the organ and was an avid reader when younger, particularly enjoying a good novel. Ellen often visited charity shops and car boot sales in search of a bargain where she would love to have a good rummage, and in the evenings she liked to sit back and watch Coronation Street. She enjoyed her holidays in Australia, South Africa and America. Ellen's main interest was gardening and she always kept her garden full of colour in the summer months.
Family flowers only by request and donations in memory of Ellen may be made to Only Foals & Horses.

Martyn Phillip Shephard
Devoted family man
On 3rd August 2017 peacefully in the hospice, Martyn aged 57 years of Great Harwood. The dearly loved husband of Lesley, loving dad of Jess and Dom, very dear father-in-law of Karim, a loved son of Marian and Jim, loved son-in-law of Sylvia and the late Keith, much loved brother and also a dearly loved brother-in-law and uncle.
Martyn was an engineer at DSF Delmac in Blackburn most of his working life before moving into Waste Management. He was hard working, meticulous, and could turn his hand to anything. He was a particular dab hand at DIY, loved fishing locally and loved gardening. In his spare time, Martyn enjoyed watching Grand Designs, Come Dine with Me and Scrapheap Challenge. He was a devoted family man who liked dining out and family holidays abroad, especially Ibiza where he always enjoyed the sunshine. Martyn also had a best friend in his dog, Benson.
Donations may be made in memory of Martyn on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice.

The service to celebrate Florence's life will be held at St Mary's RC Church, Clayton-le-Moors followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium
Florence Josephine Pollard
Devoted and loving mum
On 18th July 2017, peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family and fortified by the Rites of the Holy Mother Church, Florence aged 85 years of Clayton-le-Moors and formerly of Oswaldtwistle. Devoted and much loved wife of Albert, loving mum of Stephen, dear sister of Margaret, and also a much loved auntie and friend to many.
Florence worked at Luptons and then later as a care assistant at Woodlands Care Home in Clayton-le-Moors. She was born in Cartron, Killasser, Co. Mayo. One of 9 children, she moved to England with her family at the age of 13. Florence met Albert on the train, on the way home from Blackburn, after a night out at Tony's dance hall.
Florence was a very caring lady who always put others before herself. She was a devoted mum who dedicated all her time to her son Stephen. Nonetheless, she still found time to look after nephews and nieces, as well as providing support for those around her.
Florence - so dearly loved, so sadly missed.

Martin's Funeral Service will take place at Dill Hall Cemetery at the Graveside
Martin Melvin Mayor
On 24th July 2017 in hospital Martin aged 60 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The much loved son of the late Thomas and Catherine, loving father of Lee, Jason and their families and brother of the late John, Martin was also a good friend to many.
A well known character who was known locally as Donny Osmand, Martin had a keen eye for the ladies in his younger years and was a bit of a chick magnet. A master of table football he could often be found defending his title. He enjoyed meeting up with his many friends in the pubs of Clayton and was always the life and soul of the party and often enjoyed singing along to his favorite Irish folk songs.
Martin will be fondly remebered by all his family and friends.
