Devoted mum who loved the countryside
On 11th June 2017 at Addison Court Nursing Home, Mary aged 89 years formerly of Whalley. The devoted wife of the late Richard, loving mother of Robert, cherished grandmother of Lydia and Georgia, dear sister of Arthur, Donald and Shep.
Mary was a housewife and she spent her time looking after the family home and a few sheep that she kept on the family farm. Mary was very house proud. She enjoyed her days out to the countryside and in particular to the Lake District. She also loved to bake and enjoyed spending time in her garden which always blooms in full colour in the summer months.

Formula 1 Fanatic
At his home on 12th June 2017 Adam passed away surrounded by his loving family and best friend, aged 30 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The dearly loved son of Dave and Jen, much loved partner of Leah, treasured brother of Laura and the late Dee, dear brother-in-law, much loved uncle and awesome friend to many.
Adam was a building fabricator technician and qualified joiner, and spent the last four years working at Romec. He was devoted to his crazy dog Roxy. He enjoyed walking and camping and the two of them went everywhere together. Adam was a massive lifelong fan of Formula 1 racing and also enjoyed football. He loved cars and enjoyed speed. He even drove to Monaco and drove around the Formula 1 Road Circuit in his own car. This was one of the highlights of his life. He got Lewis Hamilton's autograph and it became his treasured possession. Adam was a selfless person who always put others first. He could talk to anyone about anything and he was dearly loved by all who knew him.

Devoted carer and loving family lady
Peacefully in the loving care of East Lancashire Hospice on 6th June 2017 surrounded by her loving family, Heather aged 65 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved partner of Les, dear daughter of Jim and the late Irene, mum of the late Micheal, dear step-mum of Joanne, mother-in-law of Manny and Maxine, cherished nanna of Thomas, Liam, Kieran, Carl and Sophie, dear sister of Christine and Maureen, sister-in-law of Bob and Malcolm.
Heather worked for Lancashire County Council Adult Community Services caring for people with learning disabilities. She was totally devoted to her work which gave her a great sense of fulfillment. Heather loved her relaxing holidays in the sun and travelled worldwide, including 3 trips to Australia to visit family. She was a devoted family lady and nanna who enjoyed taking her grandchildren out and would use any excuse to spoil them. Watching them grow up gave Heather untold pleasure.

Peter's funeral service will be held at All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors led by Toby R Webber, followed by interment at Dill Hall Cemetery

Peacefully at his home on 7th June 2017 surrounded by his loving family, Peter aged 68 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved husband of Carole, loving dad of Michael and the late Nicola, dear father-in-law of Dawn, cherished grandad of Jodie, Alex and Franchesca and great grandad of Kian, Shaun, Logan, Ronnie, dear brother of Harold and Kathleen and a good friend to many.
Peter was in the Army Royal Engineers for 5 years, and later worked as a maintenance engineer at Clitheroe Cement Works and Nori Brickworks. He loved his job and always made himself available to help at his workplace, retiring just 12 months ago. Peter was also a member of the Royal British Legion where he was Secretary and Poppy Organiser for many years. He enjoyed socialising locally and was well-known in the local pubs. He also enjoyed a flutter on the horses and could often be found in the bookies. Peter enjoyed his holidays relaxing in the sunshine, especially to Skiathos Greece. In his spare time, he kept hens on his allotment and the family always looked forward to their weekly supply of fresh eggs. Peter enjoyed family get togethers and meals at the Balti Stan and walking the dogs, 'his grandpups', Roxy and Oscar.
