Janice, a former auxiliary nurse at Royal Blackburn Hospital, was a positive, bubbly lady who had a unique way of expressing herself.  She liked nothing better than sitting out in the sunshine and was a familiar sight on the bench outside her home where bus drivers often waved to her.  Devoted to her family, Janice also loved socialising with her friends who were a big part of her life.  Much fun was had on her girlie weekends in Blackpool and sunshine holidays in Majorca and Benidorm.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading romance novels and often took up new hobbies that she never got round to finishing.  She was a fun person to be around and made everyone feel happy.
