Steven's funeral service will take place on Tuesday 25th October in All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium

On 15th October 2016 suddenly at his home, Steven aged 55 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved husband and best friend of Kerry, loving dad of Emily, cherished son of Sheila and the late Bill, dear brother of Julie, Peter, Susan, David and Martyn, a respected brother-in-law, and treasured uncle and good friend to many.
After leaving school, Steven served in the army in the Royal Signals bomb disposal unit for 13 years prior to working for Patient Transport Services with North West Ambulance Service where he worked for 27 years. Steven loved his work and was very proud of the job that he carried out. Steven called a spade a spade and always knew what he wanted but would do anything for anyone. He was a particularly doting dad who loved to spoil his daughter, and especially enjoyed family celebrations and get togethers. In his spare time Steven enjoyed watching Wigan Rugby League matches and attending Blackburn Rovers games. He also enjoyed fishing and looking after Kerry's horses.

Lover of the outdoors
On 15th October 2016 peacefully at Springhill nursing home with her family by her side, Pat aged 82 years, formerly of Rhydding Street, Oswaldtwistle. The devoted wife of the late Jack, much loved mum of Carole and Scott, dear mother-in-law of Philip, cherished grandma of Lisa, Molly and Jake.
Before retiring and becoming a volunteer at Oxfam in Blackburn, Pat worked as a shorthand typist at Daisy Dairy and Accrington Brickworks. She was a member of Rhyddings Methodist Church and served as a church warden for three years. Pat was a great lover of the outdoors. She travelled world wide but mainly in Europe and later enjoyed weekends away with the Accrington Ramblers. Her other hobbies included knitting and doing crosswords.

Margaret's Funeral Service will take place in St John's Church, Accrington followed by Interment at Accrington Cemetery
A life long member of St John's Church
On 13th October 2016 peacfully in a private care home, Margaret aged 93 years of Accrington. The dealrly beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved mum of David and Caroll, Ian and Rhian, loving grandma of Andrew, Nichola, Vicky and John and great grandma of Ella, Sam and William.
Margaret was born in Accrington and spent most of her working life as Company Secretary at the Pioneer works in Accrington, where her late husband Jack also worked. Margaret was a homebird and always enjoyed visits from her family and friends. A doting Grandma and Great Grandma, she was the chief family babysitter. A practical and resilient lady, Margaret always called a spade a spade. She enjoyed gardening and sitting out in the sunshine. She enjoyed reading romance novels and was a great cook too and made the best cheese and onion pie in the world. Margaret had been a life long member of St John's Church in Accrington and a former Treasurer and Secretary of The Mothers' Union.

On 11th October 2016 peacefully at Clitheroe Hospital with her famly by her side, Marie aged 81 years of Whalley and formerly of Manchester. The devoted wife of Cyril and much loved mother of Judith and Richard, dear mother-in-law of Tamzin, cherished grandmother of Rebecca, Hannah, Isaac and Evie and also dear sister, aunty, friend and neighbour.

A truly devoted family lady
On 9th October 2016 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in hospital Zelma aged 80 years formerly of Rishton and Nelson. The devoted wife of the late Arthur, loving and much loved mum of Si, Neil, Lorraine, Ann and Zelma, dear mother-in-law of Sandra, Mick, John and Stewart, cherished grandma of Michael, Joanne, Daniel, Rebecca, Rachel, Francesca, Cheyenne, Tom, Molly and Scarlett, great-grandma of Harrison, Ashton, Carter, Charlie, Isla and Jason and a dear sister, auntie and friend.Zelma started her woking life in the Mills and later became a Landlady along with her husband at Victoria WMC, Bacup, The Royal Oak in Mytholmroyd and then The Swan Hotel, Accrington before taking early retirement and moving to Rishton. Zelma loved getting away to her static caravan in Gisburn ever weekend with her family and always looked forward to holidays abroad for some rest and relaxation. She travelled several times to Australia to visit her brother and family and enjoyed many Mediterranean cruises, in later years she enjoyed coach holidays with her friends. A truly devoted family lady who always looked forward to the family getting together every Sunday and always ensured Christmas was a magical time celebrating with all the family. Zelma loved to settle in her favourite chair and watch the soaps on TV or listen to one of her talking books.‘A true family legend who will be greatly missed’.Donations in memory of Zelma to The Stroke Association
