Peacefully at his home on 7th June 2017 surrounded by his loving family, Peter aged 68 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved husband of Carole, loving dad of Michael and the late Nicola, dear father-in-law of Dawn, cherished grandad of Jodie, Alex and Franchesca and great grandad of Kian, Shaun, Logan, Ronnie, dear brother of Harold and Kathleen and a good friend to many.
Peter was in the Army Royal Engineers for 5 years, and later worked as a maintenance engineer at Clitheroe Cement Works and Nori Brickworks. He loved his job and always made himself available to help at his workplace, retiring just 12 months ago. Peter was also a member of the Royal British Legion where he was Secretary and Poppy Organiser for many years. He enjoyed socialising locally and was well-known in the local pubs. He also enjoyed a flutter on the horses and could often be found in the bookies. Peter enjoyed his holidays relaxing in the sunshine, especially to Skiathos Greece. In his spare time, he kept hens on his allotment and the family always looked forward to their weekly supply of fresh eggs. Peter enjoyed family get togethers and meals at the Balti Stan and walking the dogs, 'his grandpups', Roxy and Oscar.

Tragically on 22nd May 2017, Michelle aged 45 years of Whalley. Much loved wife and best friend of Tony, devoted mum of Dylan, Elliott and Millie, loved daughter of Christine and Mick, much loved sister of Nichola, dear sister-in-law of Tony and loving auntie of Ethan and Ellis, loved daugther-in-law of Jean and the late John.

Home loving lady with a big heart
On 22nd May 2017 peacefully in Moorhead Rest Home, Accrington, Hannah aged 91 years, formerly of Whalley. The devoted and much loved wife of the late Ronnie "Re-united", and much loved auntie of Jean and family.
Hannah worked at Stanhill Mill all her working life and worked her way up to running the office where she was hardworking and popular. She retired at the same time as Ronnie and together they travelled the world, visiting Canada seven times. She adored Canada. Hannah was totally devoted to Ronnie and loved pottering about at home. As long as she was with Ronnie she was happy. He spoilt her and she loved it. They enjoyed gardening together and Hannah read her Accrington Observer each week cover to cover. She enjoyed watching Mash re-runs on TV. Hannah will be remembered for being a little lady with a big heart.

Lover of American Classic Cars
Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on 1st June 2017, Marvin aged 75 years. The devoted and loving dad of Michelle, Marvin and Ashley, dear father-in-law of Alan and Sarah, cherished grandad of Laura, Yvonne, John-Marvin, Alan-Ashley, Victoria, Benjamin, Charlotte and Jake, great-grandad of Henry, Arthur, Harley-James, Dexter, Harry and Joey, dear brother of Marilyn and special friend to Jai.
Marvin worked at and ran the scrapyard "Altham Autowreckers" for over 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and a massive football fan and lifelong supporter of Burnley Football Club. He loved his American Classic Cars and even owned his own 1977 Lincoln Continental. He spent hours keeping it polished and immaculate. It was his pride and joy. Marvin also enjoyed his holidays to Thailand and America to car shows. Marvin was always there for his family whenever they needed him and he was always happy to help them out. Marvin also had a best friend in his son Marvin's beloved companion dog, Spot the Jack Russell.

Former Enfield Cricket Club Chairman
On 26th May 2017 peacefully in hospital, Geoff aged 75 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The dearly beloved husband of Eileen, greatly loved dad of Ian and Ruth, dear father-in-law of Simon and Julie, much missed grandad of Thomas, Ashleigh, Jonathon and Olivia.
Geoff was a Local Government Officer at Hyndburn Borough Council. He was a very efficient person who liked things to be done properly. Geoff was also a member of Enfield Cricket Club for 60 years. He originally started by playing cricket for Enfield and then became Chairman for 20 years. He was also a keen Rovers fan. Geoff enjoyed his holidays, especially to the Greek Islands where he loved the sunshine and enjoyed meeting with Greek people, and he created many happy memories there. He was always smiling and laid back. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking in the countryside and reading murder mystery novels.
