Alan's funeral service will take place at All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors BB5 5HT followed by private family burial.
Truly devoted and loyal husband and friend
On 10th August 2017 peacefully at his home, Alan aged 80 years of Cowden, Great Harwood. The devoted and much loved husband of Katherine, dear brother of Norman and Jean, brother-in-law of John, Bobby, Jean, and Maria, true loyal and devoted friend of Michael and a well known and respected friend of many.
Donations may be made in memory of Alan on behalf of North West Air Ambulance or Cancer Research UK

The requiem mass will be celebrated at Our Lady and St Huberts R.C. Church, Gt. Harwood followed by interment at St Mary's churchyard, Osbaldeston.

Devoted family lady and teacher
On Thursday August 17th 2017, Joyce died peacefully at the Royal Blackburn Hospital with her loving family by her side, fortified by the rites of the Holy Mother Church. Joyce, formerly of Great Harwood, aged 89 years, the dearly beloved wife of the late John and much loved and loving mother of Judith, Paul and Michael, loved mother-in-law of Anthony, Lorraine and Kay, treasured grandma of Catherine, Claire, Sophie and Joanne, loving great grandma of Jensan and Leo.
Joyce is reposing in the Chapel of Rest.

A lady who loved life
On 9th August 2017 peacefully in hospital, Joan aged 85 years, formerly of Eachill Gardens, Rishton. The devoted wife of the late Harry and the late Barrie, loving mum of Susan and step mother of Pamela, dear mother-in-law of Peter, a cherished grandma and great grandma.
Joan worked for many years in Quality Control at Oxo, Great Harwood. In her spare time she enjoyed doing handy crafts at home. Joan loved meeting up with friends for a catch up and a good natter. In her younger years, she enjoyed holidays in the UK taking in the sights and in later life she enjoyed holidays abroad where she could relax in the sushine. Above all, Joan loved all children, especially her grandchildren and always looked forward to family visits.
Donations may be made in memory of Joan on behalf of Derian House Children's Hospice.

The funeral service to celebrate Donald's life will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA led by Civil Celebrant, Bernadette Nuttall
Lifelong member and former captain of Accrington Golf Club.
In hospital on 8th August 2017, Donald aged 84 years of Great Harwood. The devoted and much loved husband of Irene, loving dad of Simon and Gillian, dear father-in-law of Richard, cherished grandad of Cheryl and her husband Adam, and great grandad of Macey and Millie.
Prior to his retirement, Donald worked as a Computer Analyst at Mullards in Simonstone. He was a lifelong member of Accrington Golf Club and was Captain of the Golf Club in 1984. Donald liked to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine or whiskey and watch his television programmes, especially documentaries, and Midsummer Murders was one of his favourite TV programmes. In his spare time he also enjoyed growing vegetables and pottering in the garden. Donald always enjoyed getting away for a few days on holiday where he could relax and enjoy time with Irene. He also loved his family visits and was a proud grandad and great grandad.

Ellen's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA led by Civil Celebrant, Lianna Champ
On 4th August 2017, peacefully in hospital after a long illness, Ellen of Blackburn, much loved wife of Roy, loving mum of Nicola, Alison, Peter, Roy and the late Heather, much loved nan and great-nan and a good friend of many.
Ellen worked in the mills as a weaver most of her working life and also spent some time working as a domestic cleaner and dinner lady. She enjoyed playing the organ and was an avid reader when younger, particularly enjoying a good novel. Ellen often visited charity shops and car boot sales in search of a bargain where she would love to have a good rummage, and in the evenings she liked to sit back and watch Coronation Street. She enjoyed her holidays in Australia, South Africa and America. Ellen's main interest was gardening and she always kept her garden full of colour in the summer months.
